We are very proud of our finished Viking Long Ships. They each have a working sail and very strong sides. This afternoon we took our boats to Little Gems so they could see what a Long Ship looks like. They described our boats as 'impressive'. We're glad you liked them!

Wednesday 2nd of May. Most of year 4 were sat in a coach and waving goodbye to their parents with their luggage packed away safely. When we arrive at Osmington we find out our rooms and activity groups. I was with Mrs Price for activities and in a room with Nadia,Mariam and Kimberly.Our school team leader was Rebecca who then took us to lunch (turkey burger and chips.) Then we went to our group's first activity. Our's was quad biking.They were huge and hard to control. Our group's next activity was archery (that was my second favourite activity.) Then everyone went to little Wembley. It was just like a huge sand pit. Mr Smith even brought a huge football.Then at half 8 we all went to bed. Thursday 3rd of May. We all woke up at 7 and went to breakfast at 10 past 8 (sausage and spaghetti.)Abseiling was next and I was really scared but when I started it was really fun. After that it was tunneling. The troll's toilet was really muddy.Then it was lunch (cod bites and diced potatoes.)Then it was aeroball. I hurt my back on that. On rock climbing I got to the top on the hardest wall.On quiz night Mrs lockyer's team had a queen Elizabeth the 2nd mask that was funny.Bedtime was 10 past 9. Friday 4th of May. BIG SWING! Me and Ria went right to the top both times! It was awesome! That was definitely my favourite activity.Then it was problem solving (our last activity.) And then our last lunch.Baguette,ham and tortilla chips.And then we put our luggage on the coach and got ready for the long journey home.
A comment from my mum.......A very tired little girl came home with a case full of muddy and wet clothes. She had waited a long time for the trip and it was over in a flash. Her brother was a little angel while she was away and the house hasn't been that quiet in ages! Lots of exciting tales have been told and maybe we'll get there one day as a family as I was very jealous! Many thanks to all the staff who gave the children a wonderful time and have now hopefully caught up on their sleep! |

While the year 4 childeren where at osmington bay we where put into classes because most of our teachers where away. we made olymic logos mascot sock puppets and clothing design. it was really fun the past 3 days isobel |

In the first week of easter I went to a farm in Deven.They had chickens, cows,cats & a dog.The dog was called Toffee & it was a border collie.It always came to our door at tea to get food & I ave her some every night!She loved me!I loved playing fetch with her.

I took part in the golf for ferndown first. It was fun because there were 8 games you needed to do. We had lunch there.Luckily we got out the way of the heavy rain. It was very wet so the grass was muddy. We had a great day!!!!!!!!!
My favriet was the long hit were you hit the ball as far as possible. There was a man that deman sraited how to do it but he was better than me. He hit it into a tree it was so far!

On Sunday I went to Bournemouth Beach and I saw the GIANT DECK CHAIR. It was taller THAN MY HOUSE. I dug up a piece of glass which had smooth edges because the sea had made it like that. IT WAS SO FUN ! By Isobel In Amethyst |

We went to Bournemouth beach and we jumped over all of the waves.We collected lots of beautiful shells.I packed a picnic . We made some sand castles and i made a huge one. We got very sandy because of the dry and wet sand, we had a great day. From Amie in the Amethyst class Y3 |

One of my best friends Abi is going to be leaving soon to live in wales I am sad that she's going but Weill email to keep in touch I will really miss her and she is going to be having a leaving party she is inviting all her friends like me Martha issy rebekah and more. Isobel amethyst |
my favourite fish is well one of the biggest fish in my tank. the colour of the fish is shiny pink! some of my friends would of seen the fish. one of my fish is called goldy
