An early start for some of us in Key Stage Two today but worth every second. Mrs Di-Pede waved us goodbye as the coach pulled away from school at 6am.
A few hours later, we arrived at The Houses of Parliament where we were given our security passes and a tour around the building.
Our eyes gazed upon layers of history as our tour guide explained what each room was. Giant paintings and statues towered over us as we travelled through long corridors and vast rooms.
From here, we had lunch then stepped aboard our boat for a special tour of the Thames.
From left to right, there were old and new buildings that talked of London’s past and present.
Our day was filled with excitement and full of wonder.
Thank you to all the parents who came to support us today.
