Outdoor Learning

With the weather getting warmer we have taken more of our learning outside.

Last week, Diamond Class enjoyed taking part in Forest Schools. We found natural objects such as sticks, berries, stones and pine cones. Then we heard a story about some naughty pixies in the forest, and we made special creatures from the things we had found! It was important to listen carefully to the rules so we could all keep safe while we were outside.

This week we have taken our maths learning outside too. We found out the lengths of some large sea creatures and then worked in teams with metre rulers to draw the length of these creatures on the playground.
