Safe wise!

Today we went to Safewise. We had a great time learning about how to keep safe.  We crossed the road safely and then talked about how to keep safe on our bikes – remember to wear a helmet.

We walked through a house and spotted lots of dangers.  We also learnt about fire safety. Get out, stay out, call 999!  Some children even had a go at phoning the fire brigade on a practise telephone.  But we must remember to only call 999 when it is an emergency and not for fun!

We also visited a beach and spotted all the dangers.  We talked about safe places to swim in the sea – in between the red and yellow flags.

Mrs Lord is super proud of Turquoise class because they were excellent representatives of Ferndown First School!  Thank you to all the adults who came to help.
