Last week we had elections to find out who would be our representatives on the School Council and Eco Committee. Well done to the children below and Dylan who is also the Topaz Rep for the School Council.

Today my Grandad, John Cullen came into school to talk to our School Council. My Grandad is a Town Councillor with Ferndown Town Council. He told us all about the Town Council, how they help the people of Ferndown and what they do in their meetings. We all met in the staffroom and had a drink and a biscuit before our meeting started. Grandad gave all the School Council a booklet and information to keep. I really enjoyed it. Jonathan |
| On Friday 6th November 5 children form the school council went to Tesco in Ferndown for a special presentation from our local MP, Christopher Chope. We received a certificate and a box of equipment for taking part in this year 'Tescos For Schools And Clubs' voucher scheme. We had the chance to chat with Christopher Chope and tell him all about our school council. | | |
