On Wednesday, Year 3 went back in time to a Victorian classroom. The children lined up at the door when the school bell rang and walked in silence into school. They were amazed by the transformed classrooms, with bare walls and individual desks. The lessons included reciting poetry, chanting times tables and learning about potatoes. At playtime, the children skipped and played hopscotch. They embraced the experience and participated well in all aspects including wearing the dunce hat! Some of the rules were difficult to follow, such as not asking questions or complaining.
