In our forest school style session we learnt about fire safety and the fire triangle. We then built and lit our own small campfire. Our topic this half term is Community Heroes and we have been learning about the emergency services including the fire brigade. In literacy we have been reading ‘Zog’ and finding out how he became a dragon with the flying doctors. Below is some of our writing abut different people who help us.
In phonics we have learnt several new tricky words including ‘one’, ‘were’, ‘little’, ‘so’ and ‘said’.
In maths we have been practising adding by counting on and our numbers to 20. Our number of the week is 16.
