We have had a busy first week and a half back since the holidays. Last week we focussed on naming and describing the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We did this by investigating whether the shapes could slide or roll, or both. This week we have been estimating how many objects are in a set and making sure our estimates are sensible.
In literacy we have been looking at the story ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson, retelling it in our writing and researching real flying doctors by looking at Helicopter Paramedics.
In phonics we have gone back to the sounds ee and igh to read longer words.
