In Year 3, we have been making cushions! After drawing their designs, the children learnt how to use running stitch to add their detail. They then learnt how to use blanket stitch to stitch around the edges of their cushions in order to keep the stuffing inside. The end results are absolutely beautiful and the children really enjoyed the experience!
