What an excellent start to the school year!
In phonic lessons, the children have been learning strategies to help them remember their spellings. We will be sending five spellings home every Monday.
In English, the children have been writing the story of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. They have used interesting adjectives and verbs to engage the reader.
In Maths, the children have been representing two-digit numbers with a variety of equipment and thinking about the value of each digit in a number.
In handwriting lessons, the children have been practising using handwriting lines ready for their new Learning Journals.
