This week we have been exploring the names and properties of solid shapes. We have sorted the shapes according to whether they can roll, slide or stack and we have spotted 2D shapes that appear on the sides of 3D shapes.
We have also been doing some fabulous independent writing using the sounds we have learnt so far.
Our sounds this week were ng (as in king) and ai (as in sail).
Our poem of the week was ‘Little House’ and our words of the week were ‘forest’ and ‘cottage’.
Our number of the week was 13.
