This week has been arts week across the whole school. The focus this year was Japan. In Year One we have been making pictures of Koi fish using different media. We used paint, salt, tissue paper, sponge prints and pencils. We finished the week by creating huge painted symmetrical Koi fish. As well as creating pieces of art we have also learnt various facts including how to write and say our names, greetings and numbers in Japanese.
