This week we have been learning all about Japan and Japanese art. We have used bubble wrap to print cherry blossom trees, made Japanese fans and collaged cherry blossom trees with scrunched up tissue paper. We have even learnt to say some Japanese phrases and we have counted to 10 in Japanese. The children have been brilliant artists, well done Reception!
Our sounds this week were ar (p-ar-k) and or (f-or-k). Our tricky word is ‘they’.
Our poem of the week was ‘Pancakes’.
