This week we have used non-fiction books to find out facts about dinosaurs. We used the contents page to find the page number of the information we wanted. The children then wrote facts about dinosaurs using the sounds they know.
Our sounds this week were oi (oil) and er (ladder). Our tricky word was ‘all’ and we looked at how this is a word on its own, and can also appear in words like ‘wall’ and ‘ball’.
Our story was The Little Red Hen and our words were ‘corn’ and ‘windmill’.
