Each year the Summer Reading Challenge is produced by The Reading Agency and delivered by Libraries. This year, The Reading Agency and libraries are excited to introduce Silly Squad, Summer Reading Challenge 2020; a celebration of funny books, happiness and laughter.
With the disruption caused by COVID-19 and the impact of social distancing on schools and public libraries, the 2020 Summer Reading Challenge is being delivered online to ensure it reaches as many children and families as possible.
Children can set their own challenge to read any amount of books and every read is rewarded along the way with online badges, games and videos. Children receive a downloadable certificate once they have completed their challenge. For more information about joining in the fun, please visit:
