This week, we have read the story ‘Whatever Next!’ which tells us the magical story about Baby Bear and his adventure to the moon just before bath time one evening. Most of our activities have had a space theme which we have loved! We have made rockets from junk modelling and practised our writing in moon dust.
In maths, we have been comparing quantities using language more than and fewer than. We sung the song ‘5 little men in a flying saucer’ and used our fingers to show that the numbers were getting smaller. Can you compare quantities in your house? Are there more teddies on your bed or on the floor? Then count to check.
In English, we have written a list for baby bear using the sounds we know. Perhaps you can practise your writing at home. We would love to see a Tapestry post.
