This week in Year 2 we have been making moon buggies. We have been researching facts about Neil Armstrong and decided to create our very own moon buggy. First we learnt about wheels and axels. Then we designed our own moon buggy thinking about the similarities and differences between other vehicles. Next we used a saw to cut the axels to the correct size to fit the body of the buggy. After that we added the wheels and created our models. Finally we added flags and satellites. Once they were all finished we tested them by pushing them down a ramp to check that the axels and wheels worked. We have worked really hard on our models.
