We had a very special day yesterday celebrating World Book Day! Children in school, teachers, teaching assistants and lots of children learning at home, dressed up as favourite book characters and enjoyed a day of reading/book related fun! We were visited virtually by author Lou Treleaven who read us one of her stories and answered lots of questions about her books and about being an author. It was great to meet her! All classes enjoyed a Class zoom meeting led by their class teacher and there were lots of teacher story videos to watch and listen to throughout the day. Our special Usborne World Book Day Virtual Book Fair has been running all week. A BIG thank you to those of you have already purchased books! The more books you buy, means more free books for our school. The fair has been extended until Sunday so there is still time to purchase!
