This week, we have really enjoyed finding out all about bees. We have learnt how important bees are for pollinating and helping more flowers to grow. Our words of the week are pollen and hive.
In maths, we used hexagons to print beehives using a repeating pattern of orange and yellow. We also used our collaging and cutting skills to make our own bumble bees to live in the hives we had made!
In English, we have been writing factual sentences about bees. We also followed instructions to make and cut our own honey sandwiches.
I wonder if you can spot any bees in your garden or at the park this weekend?
Over the weekend, our caterpillars turned into Chrysalis and we have excitedly been observing them awaiting the arrival of our butterflies!
