Finance Officer

Ferndown First School are looking to appoint an experienced and well organised Finance Officer to work in a small finance team to provide full financial support to the school including the production and monitoring of the school budget. Experience using specialist financial systems such as Access or other computerised accounts system should be demonstrated on application. A good practical knowledge of MS Excel is essential.

20 hours per week – days and hours to be negotiated with successful candidate.

We would be delighted to receive applications from a team player with experience and knowledge of financial control and reporting, ideally in a school environment. You will be highly organised and willing to make a wider contribution and positive impact to the school admin team.

If you can communicate effectively in a warm and professional manner at all times, whilst remaining calm under pressure and manage constant interruptions with a smile on your face, you could be the person we are looking for.
