In Year 3, we have been re-writing the story ‘The Secret of Black Rock’ by Joe Todd Stanton. This modern folk-tale tells the story of an adventurous young girl who goes out to sea in search of Black Rock. During her adventures, she sees lots of fascinating sea creatures.
The children loved researching different sea creatures using non-fiction texts to support their story writing.
Many children have been working hard to improve their handwriting. Keep up the good work Year 3!
