We have been enjoying stories about Elmer and his friends. We have been learning to write intial sounds for words using the sounds that we have already learnt.
The sounds we have learnt this week are – ck,e,u,r. We are able to make some words using our sound cards. E.g. peg, pot, cat, duck, rat.
In maths, we have been developing our subitising skills. We have been learning to spot quantities up to 4 without counting.
The poem we have learnt this week is ‘the wise old owl’.
We have been creating our own sculptures and in forest school we made giant faces.
