The children really enjoyed learning about Harry Paye, this week, in History. He was a smuggler from Poole, born in the 1300’s, who stole lots of treasure from French and Spanish boats in the waters off the Dorset coast. On the 15th June every year, the people of Poole celebrate Harry Paye day.
