This week in Year One we have been thinking about and celebrating kindness. In assemblies we have thought about what it is we can do to be kind to one another. Throughout the week children have enjoyed writing and giving each other compliment slips recognising when someone has shown them kindness. In our PSHE lesson we have continued the theme discussing fairness and creating our very own class definition of kindness. It has been wonderful seeing how kind and caring our children can be when learning and playing together and we have really enjoyed making an extra effort to recognise and celebrate this. Well done Year 1!
