Today half of RC Class joined RA Class on a day out at Blashford Lakes nature reserve. We took part in activities including pond dipping, river dipping, meadow sweeping and examining moths caught in a light trap. The children caught and sorted creatures such as newts, water snails, leeches, water stick insects, damsel fly larvae and many more, and they loved examining them under a microscope. The children had a brilliant day and they were a credit to the school. Thank you to all our parent helpers who came along today!
