Today RC celebrated 50 years since the moon landings by learning about rockets, space, the moon and gravity. Mrs Price shared with us her memories of watching the moon landings as a little girl, and we talked about why all the images of Neil Armstrong taking his famous steps are in black and white.

The children loved finding out about zero gravity, looking at pictures of food floating around in the International Space Station, and then having a go at trying to catch a floating piece of food just like an astronaut! They also did some fabulous big moon steps around the classroom, and made some super astronauts and rockets.
