This week, we have read the traditional tale ‘Hansel and Gretel’. We have decorated the witch’s house using collage material and made potions! We have practised our writing by labelling pictures from the story.
During our maths learning, we made pictures using shapes as stamps taking inspiration from Paul Klee. We also practised our number formation with our teachers. You could have a go at this at home using the rhyme sheets in your bookbags.
In Forest School this week, we pretended to be a squirrel hiding an acorn. We then saw whether we could find it at the end of the lesson! We also made hedgehog dens and talked about hibernation.
