This half term we looked at two artists who created seascape pictures using different techniques. Joseph Turner created stormy sea pictures using watercolours and oil paints. Katsushika Hokusai created pictures using woodblock printing. We used different shades of blue using colour mixing. We used paint brushes and sponges to create different affects. This week we created our own stencils using string, cardboard and polystyrene. Then we created repeating print pictures using different shades of blue.
