During the Summer Term, Year 4 children have been hard at work making light boxes in DT. First, they analysed current products, then they designed a cover using either negative or positive space to allow light through. After that, it was time to build them! The children learnt how to safely use a handsaw to cut pieces of wood to the correct length and helped adults to glue the structure together. The end results look fantastic! Now, the children can use a battery operated light to shine through the middle!
