This week got of to an active start with our first ever sports day!
The children enjoyed taking part in a number of activities including: running races, obstacle course, target throw, water bucket relay, hockey goal scoring and more.
We were really proud of the sportsmanship showed by all children. Everyone had a go and all cheered for their friends. There is definitely lots of sporting talent in our year group.
Back in the classroom, the children have been looking at African animals, jewellery and their towns and villages. We have collaged animals and made African necklaces. In Music, we have also had a go at African drumming!
