On Monday we were visited by local author Martin Coleman! Martin has written a number of children’s books including Wandering Wildebeest and The Greedy Crocodile. He led a whole class assembly and told us all about his journey becoming an author. He shared some of his very funny alliterative sentences from his new book Animaliteration. During the morning, he worked with Year 3 and Year 4 classes, writing alliterative sentences and in the afternoon he read to EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. We loved welcoming in to school and working with him. Martin said he thoroughly enjoyed his day with us and told us how special it was for him, as he was once a pupil at our school… many years ago!
