This Thursday, 11th November, was Armistice Day. In school we learnt about the history of this day and why we wear poppies at this time of year. At 11am we observed a one minute silence across the school. The children were thoughtful and respectful for this important time.
Today the Year 4 School Council members walked to the Remembrance Garden at The Royal British Legion with Mrs Munday and Mrs Cload. They laid the beautiful wreath made by the children and took a moment to pay their respects.
