The children in EYFS loved Arts Week! We found Japan on a map and looked at photographs of Japanese cherry blossom. The children experimented with colour mixing and printing using paint rollers, sponges and bubble wrap. They made their own cherry blossom stationary set including a postcard, card and envelope decorated with Japanese symbols. The children took their stationary set home so that they could write and send their own messages.
