Today, 3SW have enjoyed a fantastic Forest School Experience Day at a woodland in Moreton, near Bovington. The children were given the opportunity to enjoy lots of different activities and all of the children had a brilliant time!

In the morning, the children learnt about how to take better care of the environment. They took part in litter picking and sorting and learnt about how long different materials take to decompose.

Before lunch, the children built their own shelters using sticks, tarpaulin and rope. Working together, they showed excellent teamwork and communication skills. All of the children were excited to eat their lunch inside newly built shelters.

In the afternoon, the children went on a minibeast hunt and were delighted to find newts, toads and a range of creatures and insects.

All in all, an excellent day out with some tired children on the bus trip back to school!
