Today, Reception visited Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve. The children took part in pond dipping, meadow sweeping and den building. They also learnt all about fire safety and got to toast a marshmallow on the fire.
This trip helps the children to tie all of their learning about animals together. Seeing the creatures in their habitats is a wonderful experience.
We are very grateful to the staff and volunteers at Blashford who put together such an engaging and well organised day. Thank you also to our parent helpers. We couldn’t run trips like this without you.
