Gestural Drawing in Year Three

This week, we have been developing our knowledge of charcoal. The children have been practicing a variety of techniques to create tone and mood. We used the charcoal on its side and like a pencil. We also smudged with our fingers and blended with a dry brush. Finally, we used erasers to add light to some areas.
