Year 1 have been using the story, “The Way Back Home” by Oliver Jeffers to inspire their writing this term. The children have written about a boy finding a plane in his cupboard, taking off up into space and crashing on the moon.
It is now time for the children to become authors and continue the story. Will the boy help the alien? What will he hear and see on his journey? How will the boy get back home and how will he feel after his adventure?
The children have made some fantastic story plans full of their ideas and are showing themselves to be budding authors!
