Brownsea Island Trip – Year 3

This week, Year 3 have visited Brownsea Island. We were ever so lucky with the weather and had an amazing day. We travelled by coach to Poole Harbour, then got the ferry to Brownsea Island. When we arrived, we headed to the Natural Play area, spotting a red squirrel on the way. The children had their snack, played with their friends and built dens using sticks. Walking back from the Natural Play area, we stopped off at one of the view points. The view was breathtaking! We then had a picnic on the church field. We had some friends (chickens) join us for lunch. After lunch, we went into the Visitor Centre and sketched the landscape on the field. Finally, we got back on the ferry to Poole Harbour and the coach back to school.
