On Thursday morning the children in Year 1 were very excited to come out of assembly and see snow! Some of the children talked about how they haven’t seen snow before and were eager to get outside and explore.
We wrapped up warm and headed outside into the snow. The children were full of joy and excitement as the snow continued to quickly fall from the sky.
We are learning about the season Autumn in Science, looking closely at the weather and temperature. The children quickly noticed that snow is normally expected in Winter, rather than Autumn. This led to many interesting conversations and questions about the seasons in the UK.
