What a busy week our Key Stage 2 choir have had! This week, between them, they have visited and performed in 10 different locations around Ferndown. We are sure they will sleep well this weekend!
On Tuesday, the choir split into two groups and performed in 5 different care homes; Clarence House, Ferndown Manor, St Mary’s Mews, Cherret Court and Heathland House. On Wednesday, they sang as a whole in both of our Christmas services at St Mary’s Church. On Wednesday afternoon, one half of the choir performed in Kings Park Care Home. Finally, on Thursday, half of the choir performed outside Ferndown Day Centre with Parley First School, before going onto Fair Lawns Care Home, whilst the other half performed at the Beacon Café.
Every audience they performed to were delighted by the singing and we couldn’t be more proud of them
. A big thank you to Mrs Charters for all her hard work in preparing the choir for this year’s tour. It was a huge success!
