Once again, our KS2 reading leaders visited Kings Park Care Home. It was a chilly walk there but once inside, we warmed up quickly and enjoyed reading and chatting with the residents. Eric, one of the residents we have got to know well, is a keen reader and writer. A while ago, he shared with us a children’s story he had written about two dogs. The children enjoyed hearing his story back at school and had a go at drawing the two dogs, Pedro and Tupenny. Today, he was delighted to receive a copy of one of the drawings from the artist in Y4 who created it!
