We have had so much fun this week visiting Charisworth Farm. The children started their farm adventure by learning about the cows. We heard about their 4 stomachs and how they have no top teeth! We also saw a cow passport, but it didn’t have a photo on.
We also met sheep, observing their behaviours and learning about their care. In the forest, we searched for signs of animals.
The children also had a chance to see what is grown in the fields. They handled the different grains in cups, and they matched the grains with different foods that they would find in the kitchen at home.
Thank you to farmer Richard for letting us visit your farm and thank you to all of the parent helpers. We couldn’t do these lovely trips without your help.
