This week in art the children created observational drawings of birds. They looked closely at the body shape, wings, feathers, beaks and feet. Using sketching pencils and oil pastels they carefully created their own drawing of a bird.
Next week, the children will zoom in closely to look at the feathers, before making their own bird sculptures.
