The children have settled into Year 3 brilliantly by following routines and showing that they are ready to learn.
In maths, the children have enjoyed exploring numbers to 1,000 and counting in 100s. This week we started
reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. In English, the children have been writing their own sentences about
the Iron Man using interesting adjectives.
The children loved their first French lesson. They learnt that Paris is the capital of France and we explored
some French landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower.
The children are excited about swimming next Thursday and the upcoming Ferndown Common trip on
September 24th.
