At Ferndown First School we believe that we have a responsibility to develop individuals who are ready to become successful young adults ready to make positive contributions to society. We have developed a set of ethos values that we hope will contribute to our positive school ethos and underpin the expectations of the staff, parents and children in how we become positive role models to each other. Together the school values spell our 5th Value of CARE. Although these values cannot be taught we can show children what they look like in practice and we can model these values as adults to the children in all aspects of school life. Each week we celebrate children’s achievements in each of these values through our golden ticket awards.
